2022: KPF Funding – Expanding School Reach
Building on our earlier impact, SouLight received CUHK’s Knowledge Transfer Project Fund (KPF) to bring wellbeing learning into classrooms in fresh, engaging ways.
We introduced non‑exam, experience‑based sessions filled with singing bowl therapy, role‑playing, poetry, and mindfulness. Tutors Cheetah Chak and Pamela Suen visited schools, guiding students to ground their emotions, listen with empathy, and handle conflicts with kindness.
The response was heartfelt—students described feeling spiritually lighter and more centred, enjoying a space free from academic pressure. Many discovered a sense of inner integrity and calm they had never felt before.
This phase strengthened our belief in the power of stories to heal and transform, showing that even in Hong Kong’s fast‑paced classrooms, compassion and reflection can truly take root.
