To support people in finding inner peace through accessible, practical spiritual education rooted in acceptance and compassion. We believe nurturing each person’s inner light with suitable educational materials can inspire personal growth and cultivate an inclusive, sustainable community.

Our Milestone

We are proud of our journey and the many young lives enriched through creativity and spirituality:

Peace In & Peace Out

Launched the Peace In and Peace Out project, supported by CUHK’s Knowledge Transfer Fund, to combine a narrative approach with spiritual education for youth inner peace and conflict resolution.

Peace & Spiritual

Held innovative workshops using the narrative approach to foster youth inner peace and spiritual growth, reaching over 1,200 participants.

Wellbeing Journey

Founded SouLight, supported by CUHK’s Sustainable Knowledge Fund, expanding from a project into a social enterprise that connects people from education, arts, drama, and other sectors on their holistic wellbeing journeys.

Community Care

Partnered with community organizations to offer creative wellbeing programs.

Spirit & Growth

Impacted over 1,500 individuals through our unique blend of creativity, wellbeing, and spiritual learning.

Rev. Dr. Tanya AU serves as Volunteer Director of SouLight Spiritual Education Centre, providing visionary leadership in holistic, spiritually grounded education. As President of the Institute of Christian Ministry at the Chinese YMCA, she integrates faith, compassion, and social care in her ministry and educational work. Deeply committed to inclusive and humanistic outreach, she is especially devoted to supporting and empowering the deaf community, fostering spaces of understanding and belonging where every voice can be heard in spirit.

Ms. Fiona Wat

Consultant – Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Fiona Wat is a dynamic advocate for social enterprise, utilizing innovative strategies like film, drama, and immersive experiences to inspire reflection and drive social change.

With support from DID HK Ltd, Fiona founded “Dialogue Experience Silence,” the recipient of the Social Enterprise Champion Award for Innovation. She also created “Silence le Cabaret,” the world’s first silent theatrical dining experience, redefining entertainment by merging impact with engagement.

Her decade-long work co-producing the award-winning film “看你今天怎麼說 The Way We Talk” showcases her commitment to fostering empathy and meaningful dialogue through creativity.

Dr. CHOW Wai Yin

Founder, SouLight Spiritual Education Centre

With a background in Education, Religious Studies, and Psychology, Dr. Chow teaches at the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is deeply devoted to nurturing holistic well-being through religious and spiritual wisdom, using creative art media to inspire reflection, healing, and inner growth.
